Vulshain registered for the first time at any Olympics Games in 2011 when it sent many athletes to compete in the VI Winter Olympics held in Ashton, Krytenia. Covering the events was the Vulshainian Confederate News and Media Network (VCNMN).
The flagbearer was Yinsya Mayana, who won a Bronze Medal with Vanyo Borya in the Ice Dancing event in the 2010-2011 Valhalla Skating Grand Prix hosted by Delaclava. Yinsya participated in Figure Skating and Snowboarding in this year's Winter Olympics.
Coverage
Throughout much of the VI Winter Olympics, Vulshain's athletes struggled, refusing to give up until they had earn a medal before the Olympics were over. It wasn't until Day Eleven that Vulshain earned its first Olympic medal: a silver, earned by Yiisu Kameoya in the Men's Individual Normal Hill Ski Jumping Event. The next day, Day Twelve, Vulshain won its first Olympic Gold Medal. Rebekka Reinhilde took the gold in the Women's Skicross Freestyle Skiing event.
