Twelve Seconds

Twelve Seconds was a popular book published in 1982 by Kai's, and has since become a classic in Iievian culture. It is based around a conflict in the ancient times, of the Holy Empire and it's Nine Dominions. This was a battle, covert and political, between princes; after the death of the Emperor, the sixteen princes, with no heir named, began their grabs for power. A battle of stealth, this war was fought in the shadows, and it has been seen as a classic of Iievian literature, but has recently fallen into a bit of a lull with newer and better books coming through.
