26/12/05 - The chant PORRO AGO REX! was first published on the Civil Headquarters message board by Malim Praedari. The chant would later be adopted as the Regional Motto.
27/12/05 - The nations of Sindoro return. The United European States collapses.
28/12/05 - The Emperor makes LKE's first alliance. It is with The Holy Empire of Felipe III.
29/12/05 - The Emperor makes a goodwill visit to THEFIII. He appoints his first ever viceroy Gooks Prime, from the West (Assaye) faction.
30/12/05 - The Emperor returns. The nation of Tinsona Penultima, from the Tinsonian faction is appointed Ambassador to this region.
04/01/06 - The nations of Assaye leave LKE and form the splinter region Victoria. In total 7 nations leave LKE.
14/01/06 - The nations of Assaye return. Victoria collapses.
16/01/06 - Sindoro sponsored nation Calber becomes Prime Minister with the support of Assaye.
24/01/06 - Assaye nations leave. Form splinter region.

02/02/06 - The nation of Panda Power makes it's first public statement. It is widely found to be annoying as it is abusive and spelling and grammar are dreadful.
04/02/06 - The nations of The Tinsonian People, with the exception of Malim Praedari leave the region. They form the splinter region The Wonderous Refuge of Tinsonia.
06/02/06 - The nations of Sindoro leave. They form splinter region Empire of the White Wolf. Assaye nations have near monopoly on power.
10/02/06 - Tinsonian nations return. Assaye monopoly vanishes. The Wonderous Refuge of Tinsonia collapses.
14/02/06 - The Emperor makes a secret deal with the Calumbian Faction (Sindoro). It states that if he comes back he becomes Prime Minister but in exchange he uses his nations to prop up the region so that splinter region creations are not as devastating.
15/02/06 - The nations of the Calumbian Faction Sindoro return.
16/02/06 - Sindoro, with the support of the West faction, becomes Prime Minister for the 3rd time.
18/02/06 - The nations of the West and Tinsonian factions leave. They create the splinter region The Land Crush Brittania. The Emperor comments that "They can't even spell Britannia so why would anyone go there?"Malim Praedari resigns as Minister of Propaganda.
19/02/06 - The nations of Calumbia stop the splinter region being devastating. Sindoro loses his Prime Ministerial post.
23/02/06 - Some West and Tinsonian nations return. The splinter region The Land Crush Brittania Survives though.
25/03/06 - The nation of Calber goes over to the Tinsonian Faction.
04/03/06 - The splinter region The Land of Crush Brittania becomes the first splinter region to become bigger than LKE.
29/03/06 - The Emperor leaves LKE for the region of N Ireland. He appoints a new Viceroy: The Viceroy. The region has now dwindled to a pathetic population of 1 nation. Thus the region is turned into the PERSONAL Estate of the Emperor.
The Age of Civilisation
08/04/06 - The LKE first gains it's forum. The first detailed history of LKE is published.
09/04/06 - The Tinsonian Faction Leader Tinson is the first non Imperial person to become a member of the forums. Regional Population doubles as Solar Maritius (Tinson) returns. The Constitution is Drafted, It guarantees Constitutional Monarchy. The Emperor appoints Citizen Erased (Tinsonian Faction) as his Foreign Secretary.
12/04/06 - Nationstates Influence is introduced. This causes coups and putsches around the nationstates world. LKE ,however, remains calm and it's institutions survive unscathed.
17/04/06 - LKE given a national motto by the Emperor. It is: Terra Regis et Imperatores est imperare orbi universo.
18/04/06- LKE once again becomes bigger than the splinter region of The Land of Crush Brittania.
20/04/06- The Empire of the Water Benders becomes Steward Prime Minister. She is standing as an individual rather than a faction.
22/04/06 - The New Legion gains an Embassy in LKE.
23/04/06- The Nations of the West Faction return. The Land of Crush Brittania collapses. The West faction is dissolved, they become the Imperial Party.
25/04/06- The Empire of the Water Benders is forced to resign as UN Delegate following UN Multying scandal. Under the new Rules she remains Prime Minister though.
26/04/06 - The Empire of the Water Benders joins the Calumbian Faction.
28/04/06 - The First ever General Election takes place.
29/04/06 - Westiana (Imperial Party) becomes first ever generally elected Prime Minister, the results were Westiana (Imperial Party) 44%, The Empire of the Water Benders (Calumbian Faction) 33%, Calber (Calumbian Faction) 11%, there was one abstaination, a total of 9 people voted.. The Emperor bequeths LKE with its' national anthem. It is called Impervius. Westiana brings The Empire of the Water Benders to trial, the Judge is Citizen Erased.
30/04/06 - The Empire of the Water Benders flees. She sets up the Splinter Region The Northern Water Tribe. Westiana Announces his Cabinet (Minister of the Exterior - Ugofizzile, Minister of the Interior - Respectener, Deputy Prime Minister - Kingdom of Sadore,)
02/05/06 - The Army Creation Act is passed, all UN Nations become members of the Army or the Home Guard.
03/05/06 - The Noble Titles Act is passed, The Emperor can now hand out titles and honours to people.
04/05/06 - Westiana announces cabinet reshuffle, Ugofizzile is now Deputy PM and Sadore is now MOE. The First ever peerage is given out, it is to Citizen Erased and it is an Earldom. The House of Lords is created.
06/05/06 - Westiana creates new Cabinet posts in his latest Cabinet reshuffle. They are Deputy Prime Minister - Ugofizzile, Minister of War - Respectener, Foreign Minister - Lord ortho of Carilsee, Minister of Intelligence - The Kingdom of Sadore, Minister of Invasion Planning - The Kingdom of Sadore, Minister of Propaganda - Epsilon Andromedae, UN delegate - Epsilon Andromedae, Cabinet Secretary - Calber (Calumbian Faction). All but Calber are in the Imperial Party.
08/05/06 - Epsilon Andromedae repaces Calber as UN Delegate, the Cabinet is now completely made up of the Imperial Party. Calber(Wolf) becomes a Count and is entitled to sit in the House of Lords.
09/05/06 - The Tinsonian Faction changes it's name to the Socialist Democratic Party. The Forums Act is passed. Epsilon Andromedae leaves to form splinter region Theyst IV.
10/05/06 - The Calumbian Faction is shut down. The Holy Empire of Carilsee becomes UN Delegate. The Official Secrets Act is passed. The Emperor finally fixes the technical problems of the LKE forum.
11/05/06 - The War Act is passed. The Empire of the Water Benders Returns, splinter region of The Northern Water Tribe collapses. Epsilon Andromedae send puppet to LKE. Theyst IV survives though.
12/05/06 - The Emperor has his first major argument with Prime Minister Westiana, The Prime Minister is accused of attacking democracy whilst the Emperor is accused of being politically involved.
13/05/06 - The University of LKE is founded. The newspapers of The LKE Today and The Imperial Times are started. The Diplomatic Immunity Bill is passed. The Second charge of The Empire of the Water Benders begins, He is found not guilty. The Emperor has another major row with his cabinet. Lord Respectener made Minister of Constitutional Reform.
14/05/06 - The LKE grows to 50 nations for the first time. Lord Respectener decides to leave the Imperial Party, he starts Democratic Party and forms a coalition with the Imperials, Epsilon and Carilsee also join but they also keep their cabinet positions.
15/05/06 - Prime Minister announces Cabinet reshuffle Respectener is now Minister of Intelligence, Carilsee is now Minister of Constitutional Reform, Belfastania is now Foreign Secretary and Hobgoblin Redpathia is now Minister of War. This has happened because the Imperial Party has formed a coalition with The SDP and DP. The leader of the SDP (Citizen Erased) has stated that he did not agree to this. Water Benders is found Not Guilty in the third trial of the Water Benders.
16/05/06 - The Independant voice newspaper is founded. Lord Respectener sues Sir Carilsee for slander, found innocent. A vote of no confidence is called in Westiana's leadership, this is started by Carilsee.
17/05/06 - Respectener breaks coalition with the Imperial Party. Emperor dissolves Parliament and sets elections for the 10th of June. The Imperial Times becomes the Democratic Times.
18/05/06 - The Constitutional Reform Party is founded when Epsilon deserts Respectener. Lord Respectener sues the Emperor found NOT GUILTY. Hobgoblin Redpathia reforms the Army (Red's Grand Design) He is appointed Grand Moff (Supreme General).
19/05/06 - The Imperial Herald newspaper started by Hobgoblin of Redpathia. The First Parliamentary awards begin. The Emperor publically apologises to The Empire of the Water Benders for making her a Duke instead of a Duchess.
20/05/06 - The Supreme Party started by Sadore. The Reichs Museum becomes the Empire Museum. Hobgoblin Redpathia made a professor and an Earl. Lord Respectener found guilty of being in breach of the Media Act, Democratic Times banned for 2 days.
The Age on the World Stage
21/05/06 - UNSP Ambassador British Whiskum tries to start a coup in LKE is backed by Respectener. The Emperor bans Respectener and British Whiskum and exiles the spies that had moved in earlier that morning. The Emperor declares war and shuts down the UNSP Embassy, the Democratic Party and The Democratic Times. The Minister of War Hobgoblin Redpathia declares Martial Law.
22/05/06 - Martial Law declared over. Respectener allowed to return. The LKE invades the United Nations Communist Party. Democratic Mirror newspaper founded.
23/05/06 - British Whiskum gives The Emperor peace terms these include an inquiry into LKE Espionage, a withdrawal of LKE Troops and a public apology by His Majesty. The Emperor contemptuously refused. More troops sent to the UNCP. Epsilon returns, the splinter region of Theyst IV collapses.
24/05/06 - More troops enter UNCP and The Emperor calls his allies. He discovers that his oldest ally The Holy Empire of Felipe III no longer exists.
25/05/06 - LKE Troops retreat from UNCP. LKE Troops attempt an invasion of Dixieland but are repulsed when the founder is revived.
26/05/06 - LKE Troops attempt to invade Federated Islamic Republic. Invasion kept secret from the RLA. British Whiskum and The Emperor declare peace.
27/05/06 - Troops leave FIR because there are no active members. They move to The Stronghold. The LKE is given it's flag. Ugofizzile replaces Carilsee as UN Delegate. The Emperor publishes the Rules of Nationstates on the forums.
28/05/06 - The UNSP declares war. LKE Forces Retreat. LKE given ultimatum by Pax Britannica stating to withdraw from The Stronghold or else they will declare war. The Democratic Mirror changes name to The Legal Observer. The legal firm, Respectener and Partners founded. The Intelligence database on people is started.
29/05/06 - The firms Carilsee & Associates and EA Consulting are founded.
30/05/06 - The LKE agrees peace with the UNSP.
31/05/06 - Tartarus created, first LKE dominion. Tartarus forums created.
01/06/06 - British Whiskum elected Governor of Tartarus.
02/06/06 - All LKE citizens encouraged to leave Tartarus as it has slipped into anarchy.
03/06/06 - British Whiskum starts communist coup in Tartarus. It was a success but the level of apathy in the LKE government ensures that BW has to make do with a ruined dominion. LKE looses it's dominion.
04/06/06 - BW asks for peace again but is refused by the Emperor.
05/06/06 - Voting in the General Election takes place.
08/06/06 - The polls close. The results are as follows; The Imperial Party: 48.15%, the Social Democratic Party: 51.85%, the Supreme Party 0%. The votes are so close that both parties get 5 seats each in Parliament. Initially, however the Emperor stated it was a draw, as a result Sir Carilsee took the Emperor to trial. The Judge (The Empire of the Water Benders) rules in favour of Citizen Erased and says he can become PM.
12/06/06 - The LKE signs an alliance treaty with the region of A Free Democracy. Sadore becomes Ambassador to this region. The Emperor appoints Lord Respectener as his first ever Principal Private Secretary.
15/06/06 - The SDP and IP disband and form the People's Party. Citizen Erased id to be Prime Minister and Westiana is to be party Chairman (Chief Whip) and Deputy Prime Minister with Admin powers attached. He is also to be allowed into the Staterooms.
16/06/06 - Respectener is kicked out of the forum for abusing his powers. There is wide spread jubilation. A 'Jubilation Day' holiday is set up for the 16/06/06. There is also to be a 'Respectener Defeat Day'.
17/06/06 - Citizen Erased announces his Cabinet, it is Deputy Prime Minister:Westiana, Minister of War: Hobgoblin, Minister of Propaganda/Advertising: Epsilion Andromedae, Constitutional Reform Minister: Carilsee, Minister of Intelligence: Sadore, Head of the Courts: Water Benders, Minister of the Interior: Carilsee. The Peoples Party also announces Parliament, it is Citizen Erased(PP),Westiana(PP), Carilsee(PP), Hobgoblin(PP), Epsilon Andromedae(PP), Ugo(PP), Dermaister(PP), Teppic(PP), Sadore(SP). The People's Party is given an MP to represent the Supreme Party even though they won no votes, this is because the PP gave them a seat at their expense.
20/06/06 - The Ambassadors Act is passed. It gives more power to individual diplomats. The Bills Act is passed, it means that bills can go through both houses at a time. The Removal of Diplomatic Immunity Act is passed, diplomats are now subject to LKE laws. The Courts Act is passed it creates a Supreme Judge. The Minister of Propaganda, Epsilon Andromedae creates a new recruitment ad.
23/06/06 - The Emperor prepares a careful plan to invade the region of Munster, the attack is planned to happen in two weeks. The Minister of War Hobgoblin Redpathia, however, orders the troops to attck immediately and chaotically, thus the invasion fails.
24/06/06 - All remaining LKE troops abandon Munster.
30/06/06 - The Emperor creates the first ever video advertisement, it is happily received. The Emperor also sets up a training video for LKE soldiers.
01/07/06 - Prime Minister Citizen Erased announces a Cabinet reshuffle. It is:Deputy Prime Minister: Westiana, Head of the Courts: WaterBenders, Minister of War: Epsilon Andromodae, Minister of Propaganda: Capt. Jamhug, Minister of Intelligence: Sadore, Minister of Constitutional Reform: Carilsee, Minister of the Interior: Lupus IV. The Emperor makes a video on 'The Rules of Recruitment'. Captain Jamhug is the first Foreign Diplomat to be made a citizen. Epsilon Andromedae, the new Minister of War, starts a training mission in the region of ;Skirmish Zone' for LKE Troops.
The Age of Empire
04/07/06 - The LKE gains it's first ever province and thus empire. It is the region of TNL. The Emperor is crowned King of TNL. He appoints Captain Jamhug as Governor-General.
05/07/06 - There is much rioting and protesting in TNL following its annexation by the LKE. The Emperor announces that he will be absent for two weeks. He appoints The Prime Minister, Citizen Erased as his regent.
18/07/06 - The Emperor returns.
24/07/06 - The Parties informally announce their candidates. For the Peoples Party Archduke Westiana, for the Supreme Party Sadore and for the Communist Party AoE.
28/07/06 - The Emperor formally dissolves parliament for the General elections. Citizen Erased, the Prime Minister advises His majesty to name 30th as the election day.
29/07/06 - The LKE starts sending troops to the region of Ayn Rand, following its invasion by The DEN. The LKE is fighting on the side of ACCEL.
30/07/06 - The General Election begins, the Peoples Party have an early lead in the polls.
31/07/06 - The Polls close, the Peoples Party have won 69.23% of the vote, the Supreme Party 23.08% and the Communist Party 7.69%. A total of 13 votes were counted, a total of 17% of the forum members. The Peoples Party have won 7 seats, the Supreme Party 2 and the Communist Party 1. The Emperor invites Archduke Westiana to form a government. Former Prime Minister Citizen Erased is made an Archduke and invited into the cabinet (Foreign Secretary) along with Minister of War: Sadore, Minister of Public Information: Epsilon, Minister of Intelligence: LoE and Deputy Prime Minister Jamhug. A bill passed later in the day also creates a Minister of finance, Hobgoblin Redpathia is appointed to this post. Respectener launches an invasion to seize Munster and give it to the LKE. A court case against him is still happening though.
01/08/06 - Respectener's case falls through as the Emperor publically alligns himself against him. The Chief of the General Staff and Prime Minister Archduke Westiana Westiana prepares troops to take Munster by force.
03/08/06 - A new constitution is passes which guarantees democracy and reduces the Emperor's power. All sides though are pleased with it. A Crown Council is created to help the Emperor run the Empire, Economy, Army and Courts. The Emperor crowns himself Tetrarch of Imperius and Elector of Munster following both regions being added into the LKE.
04/08/06 - The Emperor crowns himself Negus of United America and appoints CE to be his Grand Moff. The region is a Crown Province. The LKE conquers The Land of Dragonia, the Emperor crowns himself Shogun of the region, Jamhug is the Governor- General. A currency is introduced in the LKE.
05/08/06 - On the LKESE (Land of Kings and Emperors Stock Exchange) share prices go up by about %200. Almost Sober sells over 1400 share and makes around £200,000. She becomes the richest Person in the LKE.
06/08/06 - The Emperor crowns himself Grand Duke of Luxemburg.
14/08/06 - The Emperor leaves the region for 7 days as he is on holiday, he appoints Westiana as regent.
16/08/06 - Count Jamhug declares that TNL is to become independant, a move seconded by Epsilon Andromedae, Westiana deletes both of their accounts at their request. Jamhug retreats to New jaki and EA found THEYST VI. The government also passes an act that states that if someone has been found guilty twice they are always guilty, this means Respectener is always guilty.
18/08/06 - Degnia is elected the first ever House of Commons Speaker.
21/08/06 - The Emperor returns to find the region in chaos, he threatens to abdicate and holds a poll to see is popularity, the vast majority of people want him to stay so he does.
22/08/06 - The Emperor appoints Degnia as the first ever House of Lords Speaker. Almost Sober, The Minister of Public Information calls a vote of No Confidence in Westiana's Premiership.
23/08/06 - Westiana is removed from office by a 7-1 Vote of No confidence in his leadership. As Hobgobliin Redpathia was Deputy Prime Minister to Westiana he becomes interim Prime Minister.
24/08/06 - Niso is added to the Empire as a Crown province, the Emperor crowns himself Doge of Niso. Parliament is dissolved and the election date is named for the 29th.
30/08/06 - The Peoples' Party win the General Election with a majority of 69.23%, the Supreme party get 30.77% and the communist party get no votes. teh PP majority vote is increased when the Emperor's vote for the SP is deducted. Citizen Erased is declared Prime Minister. CE announces his cabinet: Deputy Prime Minister: Westiana, Foriegn Minister: Degnia, Minister of Defence(Consolidated position of War and Intel): OnderKelkia, Colonial Minister: Hobgoblin, Minister of Public Information: Griffin, Home Secretary: Sadore.
31/08/06 - The Emperor is involved in major scandal becuase of hi voting in the election, he is also charged with - Having multiple accounts and misinterpreting a bill.
01/08/06 - The Emperor uses his influence to close the court case but his reputation is badly damaged.
The Age of High Culture
02/08/06 - The region gets a rolling news box, it is filled with many amusing jokes and advice. it has a loop of about 5 minutes.
07/08/06 - Water Benders proposes a constitutional amendment which would change the way MPs are selected. It becomes the focus of a major debate.
08/08/06 - The Minister of Defence Onderkelkia resigns followed shortly by Prime Minister Citizen Erased. The Prime Minister requests that the elections are to be held on the 10th, the Emperor grants his wish. Westiana takes over as interim Prime Minister
09/08/06 - Hobgoblin Redpathia declares he is leaving the Peoples' Party and forming the Conservative Democrat Party. The Emperor pushes the election back to the 16th of September. Degnia is declared the PP candidate.
10/08/06 - The LKE founds 'The Grand Alliance'.
11/08/06 - The Emperor agrees to bring the election date forward to the 13/08/06 because he is under pressure by a petition started by Onderkelkia.
12/08/06 - Westiana announces that he is too leave the LKE.
13/08/06 - The General Election Polls open.
14/08/06 - The polls close, The Peoples' Party gets 57% of the vote, the Conservative Democrat Party wins 21% of the vote and the Independent candidate Water Benders wins 21% of the vote. A total of 14 people voted. As such the PP gets 6 seats, the CDP gets 3 seats (after the Imperius Rotten Borough) and Water Benders gets 2 seats. The Emperor invites Onderkelkia to form a government.

18/08/06 - The LKE grants The New Inquisition independence. Imperius leaves the Empire.
