Thomas Aquinas University is a Roman Catholic educational institution in West Scoville, Tesla, The Babbage Islands. The University was founded to train men for the priesthood, and its affiliated seminary remains the largest in the nation for any faith. Aquinas has only been coeducational for the last 25 years.
Academics
Aquinas offers 27 majors in the liberal arts, humanities, and education. An optional seminary add-on leading to ordination is also available to men. The most popular and best-regarded programmes are in Catholic studies, history, and music.
Sport
The Aquinas Saints compete in the IAAAA and other organisations in the following sports:
- Men: Baseball, cross-country, football, gridiron, rugby sevens, track and field, wrestling.
- Women: Football, track and field.
- Mixed: Babbage code, chess, curling, fivepins, korfball, shooting, ultimate.
This list reflects the male-dominated culture, enrollment, and history of the school. However, Aquinas mixed teams have achieved notable recent success on the shooting range and the bowling lanes.
