INTRODUCTION
The Last Kingdom was founded on July 20th, 2007 by Bromannikha, formerly of The Praetorian Empire. Before founding the region, he sought to gather as many experienced players as possible to keep the forum active, as well as to guide new players in the fun. Previously, Bromannikha founded the Empire of Troy region, but he abandoned the region as it slowly became inactive and didn't grow as fast as he hoped.
The region's government is based upon a monarchy and has a King (the Founder), a Lord Executive (the UN Delegate), and several Barons who run the State, Foreign Affairs, Immigration, Education, and Religion Departments. These barons are appointed by the king. Most positions are still open in light of the death of the region and its refounding by its third King, Xavier I.

Headed by Minister of Education, the Ministry of Education works to inform all new members of the Last Kingdom of all the regions rules and regulations. It welcomes newcommers and points them to the forum for a more in-depth and interactive learning process.
