The Beatus, officially the Theocratic Republic of the Beatus, is a large, and industrious nation. It has large deposits of minerals or ores. It has lush forests, and wide rivers. Small lakes, and many natural harbors.

The history of the Beatus is long, and complicated. It was further complicated by the great fire of 1889 A.D., which burned most of the City of the Blessed to the ground, including the Royal Archives. Luckily some documents survived, as did the archives of the Path of the Blessed housed at the Great Monastery, in Eilífur.
