The TSR-17 Cladosictis is a light, compound delta-wing multirole fighter with an emphasis on the attack role. Developed and manufactured by Tulani-Soro-Ramandu Industries, it supplements the W-16 Tandu multirole fighter in service with the Inutoland Air Force.
The Cladosictis is named after a small, weasel-like marsupial predator, and is constructed of aluminium-lithium alloys, carbon-fibre composites and lightweight titanium steel. It incorporates digital fly-by-wire technology and has a multi-axis thrust-vectoring engine to increase mobility. In addition, the high percentage use of composites (which do not reflect radar well), smaller size and radar-absorbent coatings give the plane a degree of stealth despite its conventional silhouette.
The TSR-17 has only recently been introduced, and replaces the older W-11 Bathawk in IAF service.
