Sybilla Merririn
Queen Sybilla Merririn was the great-granddaughter of King Fersoltsy Arkadyon of Vulshain. She was one of the first monarchs of Vulshain's new elective and constitutional monarchy. She was very popular due to her benevolence, however, she was not without her critics as Queen Merririn was known for her flirtatous behavior.
She was a strong supporter of the arts, and she eventually fell in love with a young Vekaiyun artist named Yuliy Shotarion.
Early Life
Born on October 21, 1745 and bapitized as a Laiatan Protestant, Sybilla Merririn grew up in Kitumang, studying the arts at Nureikreyev Theatre. She was well-known during this time for both her ballet and opera skills. While attending Nureikreyev, she was chosen by artists to model for their paintings. Her parents died when she was fifteen, leaving her much wealth. Sybilla would sometimes hold extragavant parties, in order to meet charming men.
While she was aware of her royal heritage, Sybilla had no intention of entering politics. However, she was selected to replace Queen Mariana Laramiriya after she had stepped down from the throne. Queen Laramiriya was unpopular, and many wanted a ruler who was better suited for the role as leader.
Because of her being related to King Fersoltsy Arkadyon, Sybilla was chosen to be the next ruler by the Royal Council. At first, she was reluntact, but soon, she was crowned the new Monarch of Vulshain at the age of nineteen.
Queen of Vulshain
Sybilla was a lover of the arts, which her predecessor was not. The young Lobo queen patronized the arts.
