The Superligue Septentrionienne de Soccer (known popularly as the Superligue or as the Superligue énergieNord due to sponsorship) is a Septentrionian soccer league. The top division in the Septentrionian football league system, it has been contested by 16 clubs since the league's inception in 2008. While being ruled by the Association Septentrionienne de Soccer, the league enjoys a greater freedom in its decisions than other organs of the association. For instance, it decided in 2013 to open the league's name to sponsors, a fact énergieNord, the public-owned power provider took opportunity of to give the league SCF 30 million a year.

Seasons are run in a summer schedule, from May to October. There used to be playoffs to decide the champion team, but as of 2022, the league decided to remove them. This is due to the very cold Septentrionian winter and the fact most teams hate synthetic grass, so don't want to play indoor. Every team play each other twice, for a 30 match season. The four best team qualify for the TakilQuip Champions’ Cup, while the fifth-placed team, as well as the sixth-placed team if the Bouclier du Président winner is one of the previously-mentioned five teams, qualifies for the Globe Cup. The three worse teams are relegated to Première Division.

Superligue clubs in international competitions

Despite its young age (less than 10 year old), Superligue clubs have done well in the competitions they have entered. For instance, the 2013 TakilQuip Champions’ Cup saw CS Sept-Onze Ourseville, the 2012 Septentrionian champions, lose to Candelarisian club Albrecht Turkish in the final in front of a sellout crowd at their own Stade du Rivage, selected to host the first TQCC final outside of the Unified Capitalizt States. However, this fact hides the fact that no Septentrionian team has won a single game so far in their own Tournoi IRC, being too weak compared to the Capitalizt, Vephrese and Ad'ihani champions. However, the Tournoi IRC has been disbanded after the 2013 season, as the TQCC was born. Then, the league increased its standard, now being considered as the 6th best league in the world, according to the latest TQCC rankings. Two of their clubs have won the Champions’ Cup, with CS Ourseville 1093 winning the 2016 edition and Union d'Ourseville winning the 2019 edition.
