Overview
Athamasha is, by its constitution, required to be divided into Consulates which contain Districts of one million people each. Because of the large population of Athamasha, however, the decision was made to create a layer in between called a district-general. There are twenty-three districts-general, each one containing close to one hundred million people. These are then grouped into the five consulates.
Athamasha Consulate
Athamasha Consulate contains eight districts-general, making it the largest consulate. It includes the enormous city of Athamasha.

Shoreside Consulate
The Shoreside Consulate is only given a seperate consulate because of its relative isolation from the bulk of the country.

Countryside Consulate
The two districts-general of the Countryside Consulate are the largest in terms of area in the entire Society. Each one encompasses about half of the countryside, which is, by law, not allowed to be settled or developed with very few exceptions.

Farpost Consulate
Farpost Consulate contains the majority of the smaller Athamashan cities.

Mevamasha Consulate mostly consists of the territory of the old Ward State of Mevamasha.
