Governmental System
Spirit of Hope is a Federal Republic, comprising of twelve states, each derived from an older nation.
Federal Government
The Federal Government has three branches, Executive, Legislative and Judicial. The Executive Branch contains the President and all federal agencies, including the Armed Forces and National Police. The President can set limited policies for these agencies, and in times of emergencies may create new agencies as he sees fit. However any agency created in this manner must be approved by the Legislator at a later date, usually within six months, or be disbanded. The Legislative Branch has two houses, the Assembly and the Commons.
State Government
Each state has its own internal policies, government and agencies, with little oversight from the Federal Government.
