The Sorthern Northland women's national football team, also known as Sorthern Northland Ladies represents Sorthern Northland in women's international football.
From Sorthern Northland's début in international football shortly before World Cup 36 qualifiers until shortly after World Cup 49, SNFA rules prevented women from playing football professionally in Sorthern Northland which also prevented women from playing on the senior national team.
Despite those rules then manager Eoin Ó Raghallaigh called up and played Siobhan Ní hÓgáin during World Cup 49 and AOCAF Cup 28. Ní hÓgáin's impressive performances in both tournaments are largely credited with providing a significant amount of the pressure that eventually lead to the SNFA rescinding it's ban on mixed-sex football in time for World Cup 50 qualifying. A number of female players have since played for the senior national team, whilst a number of women also now play in the Sorthern Football League.
The women's team plays largely in gender specific competitions such as the Olympic Games and the Women's World Cup. It has also on occasion represented Sorthern Northland in minor mixed-sex tournaments such as the Landsberg Charity Vase.
