Seoan Cheonma (Chinese: 西安天馬; Korean: 서안천마) is a professional football team of Daehanjeiguk. They began in Season 7 as "Seoan Gukjei" and have since become firmly established as a team known for their attacking style of football, who have steadily improved since their formation. Their greatest success to date was winning the 'double' of the Heavenly League and Emperor's Cup in Season 12, only the second team to have done so.

History
The club was formed for inclusion in Season 7 of the Imperial Football League after the Academy of Foreign Affairs made the IFL open to sponsorships of their teams by international corporations [1]. Starblaydi drink manufacturer Orcinus (zh.: 鯨魚酒), who had a history of investing in foreign leagues with Honsfield Athletic of Nedalia, put in a bid to sponsor the new Seoan-based side [2].
After having their bid accepted, Orcinus immediately brought in some Starblaydi players and staff, including several household names. Lii Chong-sun, one of the first Starblaydi footballers of Han descent, was appointed manager of the side, with former Starblaydi Captain and post-hiatus Manager Betanii Marrones brought in as a more experienced member of staff, designated as Director of Football.
Marrones was crucial in signing striker Fenchurch Bentley from Hernsworth Cubs, while the biggest coup was the purchase of the player who was the captain of the team who had just been crowned Liga Starblaydia Champions, as well as the individual honours of both Player and Midfielder of the Year: Batou Nakamura. Both of these players would go on to win AOCAF 23 and, most importantly, World Cup 41, which was co-hosted on Han soil. Nakamura would also captain Starblaydia during World Cup 42 and 43.
After the Gyeimyo Calamity, the club reformed as Seoan Cheonma and took part in Season 13 with an exclusively Han-based squad.
Imperial Football League
Season 7
After a slow start, in which they were in 36th place out of 40 teams after eighteen matches[3], Seoan fought their way back to make it to the top half of the table - just[4]. They then defeated Jjambongga FC by four goals to nil in the Division Play-off match, ensuring Seoan would begin their second full season in the top flight.
Season 8
Seoan built on their initial success in their second season, finishing 15th out of 20 teams, four points above the relegation zone[5]. Their biggest success, however, was reaching the Final of the IFA Cup. They finished as Runners-Up to Shilla (who that season placed 7th in the Heavenly Division), losing 2-1 in Extra Time. This qualified them in the fourth of four places for Daehaneiguk's entries into the Second Samseong Series B Champions’ Cup. They were defeated in the First Preliminary Round by Club Athlétique Ourseville of Septentrionia 4-1 on aggregate.
Season 9
Season 9 began with a bang as Seoan defeated Taehaeng FC in the derby match (both teams are based in the provincial capital, Seoan) and found themselves in the top two after twelve games[6]. Unfortunately the team faltered, making their way back down the table. This may well have been due to their excellent record in the Emperor's Cup and IFA Cup, where they reached the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals respectively, losing to the eventual winners of both competitions in each case. At the conclusion of Season 9 they had their best ever finish, claiming ninth place in the league despite their heavy negative goal difference[7].
Season 10
As their fourth season began, Seoan stormed to the top of the League and were in first place at the half-way point [8]. They had the best defensive record and goal difference, which gave them the position of being Daehanjeiguk's number-one entry for the 10th TakilQuip Champions’ Cup. They also progressed to the Quarter-Finals of the IFA Cup, losing 3-2 on aggregate to the eventual champions Armed Forces FC[9]. At the culmination of the league, Seoan were a point clear of their nearest rivals, with just a single game remaining. In the end, Seoan threw it away by losing 2-1 away to Shilla, while their closest rivals, Sanghae, also lost away, 4-3, to Gamsuk. Defending champions Hangyeong, by virtue of a 3-0 win to relegated Daejeon, took the title from under Seoan's noses[10]. A worthy consolation, however, was a Matchday 38 rematch with Shilla in the final of Emperor's Cup. Seoan revered the 2-1 scoreline in the league[11] - as well as gaining revenge for the IFA Cup Final defeat two seasons earlier - to claim their first ever trophy: that of the oldest domestic cup in Daehanjeiguk.
