The Sea Scorpio Class Missile Submarine was meant to replace the aging Ohio class SSBN's and SSGN's in The Phoenix Milita's fleet. The Scorpion was an all new design incorporating lessons learned from years of operating the Ohio class and subsequent modifications. Featuring a modular design, the entire interior layout can be transformed and re-configured in a matter of hours depending on preference or mission requirements. The 24 missile tubes can be modified for a variety of roles, they can hold a ballistic missile, 6 cruise missiles or a pack of anti-aircraft missiles. The forward 8 tubes can be easily modified to dock with the CSS-1 or other small submarines. The forward tubes can also hold an airlock for special divers or contain minisubs. It also has 2 torpedo tubes for defense. The Sea Scorpion has an advanced hull mounted sonar array, side scan sonar and a special escape pod system. The SeaScorpion uses the same powerful yet quiet enclosed propulsion design that all of Phoenix Dynamix nuclear submarines use.
