Rádio e Televisão Iglesianas, said and written in Iglesian as Radio a Televisya dvaya Iglesiantyda and usually known by its abbreviation RTI, is an Iglesian public service broadcaster which extends to both radio and television. Its global headquarters are in the Iglesian capital, Los Vientos. It operates independently from the government - as a result, RTI is independently run.
RTI is the largest and one of the oldest broadcasters in the country and in Esquarium and has reached a global prominence. It was founded in 1920 for radio and in 1927 for television. It is one of the largest public broadcasters in the world.
RTI has always been engaged when it comes to technological innovations in the country, launching FM radio in 1944, colour television in 1955, second audio programming in 1975, widescreen in 1986, digital audio broadcasting in 1993 and high-definition television in 1996. In 2007, RTI ended with the production of programmes and series in standard-definition, and therefore all of its programming is HD original nowadays.
