Formed by Sports Minister Allejo Santos, the Northern Sunrise Islands Premier League (originally Sunrising League) is the most important sport league on the Northern Sunrise Islands. The first season had as original champion the Northern Sunrise Islands U-20 Marills, however, the Marills were sent to the Universitarian League, making the Ayeville Pikachus, the new Champions. During the first season, however, the Pikachus were actually one of the teams that ocupped the first position of the league.

NSICA Football Relationship
Even before NSICA took power of the Universitarian League, players were signed by Premier League teams. However, the Universitarian League is normally released after the Premier League, which causes the NSI Cup, the tournament after it, to become a little more important in the meaning of showcasing talent. The team that has had more sucess with those players is Matthew City Senators, who happen to had these players as their way of being named NSI Champions.

Being a unranked team at the UICA Ranking, Northern Sunrise Islands has only one spot for the Champions' Cup. Northern Sunrise Islands also sends representants to Globe Cup, Serie B Champions' Cup and Cygnus Cup.
