Nei Samba is a versatile and powerful defender for the Starblaydia national football team, who is able to play at either Left Back or Centre Back, his preferred position. With his strength and positional play, he is a key component at both offensive and defensive set pieces such as corners and free kicks.
He made his debut for Starblaydia in the 7th Oxen Cup in Qazox, making five substitute appearances in Starblaydia's eight games, as they finished in Third Place. On the basis of his performances in that tournament, he was selected for the World Cup 42 squad, making three appearances as a substitute for the likes of Carlito Di Bradini and Vega Matranga. Four years later he was again selected, unusually taking the Number Twelve shirt as part of the Starting Eleven. He would most likely have worn the Number Five jersey was it not for Jaime Kuu, while the winger Yuri Vegachenko was given his favoured Number Eleven. Making eighteen apperaances as Starblaydia made it to the Quarter-Finals of World Cup 43, he scored just a single goal along the way - the only goal of an away game against Glaycia on Matchday 12.
When World Cup 44 came along, a twenty-nine year old Nei was finally given the Number Six shirt he so longed for.
