Natalka Rainard is a Vulpine vixen from Vulshain, and was a veteran of the 2003-2006 Vulshainian Civil War. She is also the older sister of both Samuil and Cecilia Rainard.

History
Early Life
Natalka Rainard was the second daughter of Vekaiyun immigrant Kirin Rainard and Vulshainian native Vikki Olekalexein, and was born on July 8, 1981, a year after the Monarchial Revolution that overthrew the dictator Merrill Rivers from power and restored the monarchy to Vulshain. She grew up in the Velra Province town of Kieounava. She is the sororal twin of Cecilia, although Natalka was born first by a few seconds, making her the older one. She has an older sister, Anna, a younger sister, Taisyia, and two younger brothers, Samuil and Erik. Natalka was very tomboyish while growing up. She was extremely athletic and acrobatic, and took part in her school's track and field, gymnastics, and swimming teams. She was the captain of the underwater hockey team.
Despite her tomboyish ways, she was a skilled musician, specializing in the autoharp. Like all of the Rainard children, she loved music, art, and reading.
Military Service in the Vulshainian Civil War
Natalka upon graduating from high school, enlisted in the Confederate Ground Forces. She found a strong liking for tanks and became part of the 104th Armored Division's 19th Armored Brigade. While also taking basic training, Natalka took courses in mechanical engineering, which allowed her to gain a Military Specialist Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Lran Military Academy.
When the Civil War started, she took part in several battles against enemy armored units, who mainly used M60 Pattons, leftovers from the days of the Democratic Republic, and a few smuggled M1A1 Abrams tanks. One of the most famous tank battles of the Vulshainian Civil War was the Battle of Winterwolf Meadow where the 19th crushed the remnants of the Republican Regime 91st Armored Regiment. Because of her bravery and courage during the Battle of Winterwolf Meadow, Natalka received a promotion to Captain, and was made second-in-command of the 19th Armored Brigade.
During the Civil War, she would often served beside her other siblings, especially Samuil of the 44th Infantry Regiment and Cecilia of the Confederate Air Force. Occasionally, the three would serve with their sister, Taisyia, of the 3rd Vulshainian Guard Regiment. Only Anna, the oldest of the Rainard Children, was unable to fight alongside them, but only because she was in the Navy.
Missing in Action
Natalka and her unit were ambushed in the tragic Ambush at Ironmarsh where her unit was destroyed by insurgent forces. However, her body was never found among the dead and dying.
Many believed that she had died in battle, her body destroyed. However, Samuil and Cecilia refused to accept this and hold out, praying and hoping Natalka is still alive.
Truth
In truth, she was actually captured by the enemy. However, the enemy had hoped to use her in a prisoner exchange, but this never happened. When the Civil War was about to end, the insurgents gave her to their Rygardi supporters who kept her as a prisoner for many years. Natalka swore she would escape one day.
Freedom
Since her capture in January 2004, she waited patiently for the day she would reclaim her freedom. That day came when the Liberation of Rygard began. The Armed Republic of Rygard had declared war on several nations, including Southern Yugoslavia, Vekaiyu, Vulshain, Free Pacific States, and East Malaysia after the 2010 Rygardi Embassy Shootings had occurred and Rygard had refused to apologize for the shootings and hand over the guards responsible for shooting at unarmed protesters. When her guards decided to have some 'fun' with her, she killed her captors, using a sharpened chicken bone she had hidden to kill the first guard. Escaping the Old Prison where she had been held, she walked the streets of Esteroak where Southern Yugoslavian soldiers were pinned down by Rygardi soldiers. She assisted them by killing the Rygardi with her 'borrowed' weapon. She greeted them smiling, obvious to the fact that she was naked.
She was made aware of her nakedness by the Southern Yugoslavian soldiers. She was escorted out of the city and out of Rygard.
Reunion in Southern Yugoslavia
On April 13, 2011, Natalka was reunited with her sister Cecilia in Southern Yugoslavia's capital, New Skopje, D.S. It was a very emotional and teary-eyed moment for both sisters.
Homecoming
Natalka returned home, where she was reunited with her other siblings and grandmother. She visited the graves of her parents the next day. She left flowers to the Remembered 246 whose names were inscribed on the Kieounava Memorial Wall. Many of those who had died were her friends and neighbors, who she greatly missed.
She was later promoted to the highest rank in the Vulshainian Confederate Armed Forces: Marshal of the Vulshainian Confederacy. She was promoted by her own brother, King Samuil Rainard. Afterwards, in private, she punched him in the muzzle, as she was angry that he had made into as she called it, "a desk general", although she was happy that the promotion did give her the chance to spend time with her family, as she felt that there was a lot to catch up on.
Final Reunion
Natalka, while accompanying her brother to Vekaiyu, celebrated not only her's and Cecilia's but also their brother Erik's birthday while staying at the home of Vekaiyun Premier Ikrisia Levinile, Verveni Hall.
Her visit to Vekaiyu brought a huge and joyous surprise: the return of the final missing Rainard Child: Anna Rainard.
Return to Vulshain
Natalka took part in a military raid against a corrupted DIEIS and its HQ after the intelligence agency attempted to assassinate Samuil. While Sam was saved and those responsible were punished, Natalka had to go to trial for going above the law. She was found innocent.
Changes to Vulshain
After she discovered some advanced and a little shocking technological military projects started by DIEIS, she and her sister Cecilia, despite a small argument between the two, decided to continue these projects. They did have to worry about Laiatan's opinion of the projects.
There was one change she was most happy to see: her sister Cecilia was getting married to Stewart "Stu" Riskotov of the Laiatanese Republican Guard Kommandant. Cecilia wanted her fraternal twin sister to be her maid of honor, the head bridesmaid. Natalka was very honored and pleased to accept the position. She wanted to make sure her sister's wedding went perfectly.

Personality
Natalka is much like sister, Cecilia, although there some differences. For example, Natalka was more forward and blunt at times. In addition, she can't stand arguments, and had to act as peacemaker between her siblings. Natalka tends not to get emotional, and tries to think rationally as much as possible, although she could get angry like anyone else.
Skills and Talents
Natalka is skilled in many things. Like Cecilia, she was talented in music, but she chose the flute instead of the violin. Natalka is also a skilled gymnast and artist, not to mention an exceptional hand to hand fighter. Natalka enjoys mountain-climbing as well bike riding. Surfing and rollerblading are several things she and her sister both share in excelling at. Natalka also is a talented swimmer and diver, not to mention knowledgeable about engineering.
