The Legal Code of Adreanna is the codified legislation that governs everyday behaviour of the citizens of Adreanna and foreign relations with other states. It is separated into a framing constitution, criminal code, civil code and administrative procedure. The document is binding on all citizens and visitors to Adreanna.
Constitution of Adreanna
Preamble
This Constitution is by divine decree of Her Holiness, Supreme Divine Deity, Sovereign of the Earth, Archduchess of Adreanna Islands, Rani of the Lower Maldivia, High Queen of Queens, Baroness of St. Marquis, Madame Royale, Imperatress Adreanna Zavala Trevinia Alcamisti Makena Kamealoha Tigress Magella. Only her divine holiness may alter or revoke this Constitution at any time. Her Holiness is immune from application of these laws.
Article I - The Legislature
Section 1 - The Legislature
All legislative powers are the express divine right of Adreanna. The Legislature shall consist of her sole decree.
Section 2 - Local Government Council
Each administrative division shall have a Local Government Council, the leader of which shall be selected by Her Holiness. All staff appointments are the responsibility of the Local Government Council Leader, with express approval required by Her Holiness.
Section 3 - Elections
All elections are outlawed and expressly forbidden by divine decree.
Section 4 - Powers of Her Holiness
Her Holiness has the right to declare law by word alone. Her decision is final with grounds for appeal only by her pleasure. She may sentence any punishment she sees fit and her powers are not limited by this constitution.
Section 5 - Powers Prohibited of Local Government
No Local Government Council may exceed the authority granted to it by this constitution. To do so is a mandatory sentence of death to the applicable Local Government Council Leader.
Article II - The Judiciary
Section 6 - Judicial Powers
Supreme judicial authority rests in Her Holiness, who has the power to hear any matter in its first instance, overturn any judgement made by her lessors, increase or decrease sentences or acquit offenders.
Section 7 - Trial
Offenders are presumed guilty until proven innocent. Trial is overseen by Local Government Council Leaders, who hear from the accused any evidence that may clear their name.
Section 8 - Treason
Treason against Adreanna is punishable by death. There is no right to appeal.
Article III - The Islands
Section 9 - Each State to Honour all others
Each Local Government Council is to respect the jurisdiction of every other Council. There is to be no discrimination between Councils, nor any detrimental laws to any Council.

Offences against the Person
Fatal Offences
Section 1 - Murder
The unlawful killing of another human being, with intent to cause that killing and without justifiable means, is murder.

Section 2 - Justifiable Murder
The unlawful killing of another human being, with intent to cause that killing, justified by circumstances of revenge or retribution, is justifiable murder.

Section 3 - Manslaughter
The unlawful killing of another human being, whether accidental or unintentionally negligent, is manslaughter.

Sexual Offences
The age of consent for sexual activity in Adreanna is 10 years old. Adreanna is a sexually liberal nation with extensive laws regarding the deregulation of sexual behaviour.
Section 4 - Rape
Any sexual penetration of another human being, without consent, is rape. The penetration must consist of penetrating the mouth, vagina or anus with the penis. Penetration of the vagina or anus with any object other than the penis is also rape.

- 20 years imprisonment and removal of object that caused the penetration.
Section 5 - Child Sex Offences
Any rape of a child under the age of consent is considered a child sex offence.

Section 6 - General Sexual Law
Section 6A - Nudity
General public nudity is permitted and encouraged.
Section 6B - Sodomy
Sodomy is permitted with persons above the age of consent.
Section 6C - Pornography
Pornography may feature and be viewed by anyone above the age of consent.
Section 6D - Public Sex Acts
Public sex acts are permitted, so long as they are not in obvious view of persons below the age of consent.
Section 6E - Exception to Age of Consent
Sexual relations with a person below the age of consent are permitted if part of a legal marriage.
Section 6F - Violent Sexual Activity
Persons may consent to violent sexual activities involving prescribed offences in this Code, so long as consent is given in writing prior to the activity taking place.
Section 6G - Spousal Rape
A spouse cannot be guilty of the rape of their legally married partner, regardless of the presence of consent.
Section 6H - Incest
Sexual relations including penetration, with family members is illegal, unless those parties both consent to those sexual relations. Both parties must be above the age of consent. A family member includes, grandparents, parents, uncles, aunties and children, but does not include cousins.

Section 6I - Sexual Relations with Animals
Sexual relations with animals is not a criminal offence, except where harm has been caused to that animal in the course of the sexual relations. Persons must be above the age of consent.

Section 6J - Extra-Marital Sex
Sex with anyone other than those persons legally married to is an offence.

Section 6K - Prostitution
Prostitution is legal, however prostitutes cannot levy charges for services. Prostitutes are to be paid an allowance to undertake work and are to function out of government operated parlours. The Local Government Council is to decide the rate of pay and conditions of work. Prostitution may be engaged in or procured by anyone over the age of consent.
Section 7 - Homosexuality
Homosexuality between males is an offence. Any sexual penetration by one male to another is an elevated offence.

Section 7A - Homosexual Child Sex Offences
Any homosexual act toward a child below the age of consent is an offence.

Assaults
Section 8 - Common Assault
Any unlawful application of force to another without consent is assault.
- Sentence
- Where no wounding, 5 years imprisonment. Where wounding, 15 years imprisonment.
Section 8A - Assault occasioning bodily harm
Any unlawful application of force to another without consent, that results in bodily harm, is an assault occasioning bodily harm.

- 10 years imprisonment
Section 8B - Grievous Bodily Harm
Whosoever shall unlawfully and maliciously by any means whatsoever wound or cause any grievous bodily harm to any person, with intent, is guilty of an offence.

Property Offences
Section 9 - Stealing
Any unlawful taking of the property of another, is theft.
- Sentence
- 15 years imprisonment and removal of a finger for each offence. Followed by removal of arms, then legs, then death.
Section 10 - Trespass
Any unlawful entry without consent to another persons land is trespass.

- 15 years imprisonment
Section 11 - Arson
Any person who uses fire to destroy the property of another is guilty of arson.

General Offences
Section 12 - Kidnapping
The forcible imprisonment of any person without consent is kidnapping.

Section 13 - Public Disorder
Any person that disrupts public disorder is guilty of an offence.

Section 14 - Attempts, Conspiracy and Solicitation
Any person who attempts a crime, conspires with others to commit a crime or solicits another to conduct the crime for them, is guilty of an offence.

- Half of the offence to be committed
Section 15 - Slavery
Slavery is permitted, as long as any sexual acts committed with the slave are recognisant of the age of consent.
Blasphemy Offences

Speaking ill of Her Holiness
Finding fault with Her Holiness
Slighting a prophet of Her Holiness
Claiming to be a false prophet of Her Holiness
Speculating about the life of Her Holiness
Writing the name of Her Holiness in public places
Uttering the name of Her Holiness in vain
Uttering the name of Her Holiness while committing sexual acts, unless with Her Holiness
Section 17 - Blasphemy against Belief and Custom
- The following are offences for blasphemy against the beliefs and customs of the religion of Her Holiness
Finding fault with Adreannism
Denouncing the act of prayer and ritual
Belief in reincarnation or afterlife
Praying for a religion other than Adreannism
Following a religion other than Adreannism
Disturbing prayers
Reciting prayer in any language other than Adreannic Latin
Insulting religious scholarship
Wearing religious clothing of other faiths
Participating in non-Adreannic festivals

- 10 years imprisonment, 100 lashes and 1000 hours in the stocks
Civil Code
Consumption Provisions
Section 1 - Alcohol Consumption
The minimum age for alcohol consumption in a public place is 14.
Section 2 - Drug Use
Drugs of all forms are legal entirely.
Section 3 - Gambling
Gambling is legal for all persons over 14.
Section 4 - Marriageable Age
Persons may marry anyone over the age of 10 years old. Persons between 7 and 10 years old may marry persons above the age of consent with the permission of one parent.
Section 5 - Age of Consent of Medical Procedures
Persons may consent to medical operations upon reaching 10 years old.
Section 6 - Age of Consent to Tattoo's
Persons may obtain tattoo's at age 14.
Section 7 - Negligence
A man has a Duty of Care to conduct himself in such a way as to avoid harm to others, where a reasonable man would have seen that such harm could occur.
