The Knootiaanse Sociaal Democratische Partij (English: Knootian Social Democratic Party) is a minor political party in Knootoss. It is a perpetual opposition party , which seeks to cooperate as much as possible with the other socialist and social democratic parties of Knootoss. It would eventually like to see a united socialist front that also includes the the Socialist Party and the Popular Party. However, it has refused to cooperate with the Anticapitalist Party. During elections for the Grand Pensionary or the Prime Minister of Knootoss, it will support candidates from the Socialist Party or the Knootian Green Party.

Issues

The party has a left-wing, pro-union platform that draws much inspiration from more successful socialist parties in the Western Atlantic region, such as the Pantocratorian Socialist Alliance. Fiercely regionalist and internationalist, it is in favour of Knootian World Assembly membership. The party is closely associated with the moderate unions, and more left-wing parties tend to accuse it of being a corporatist vessel of the unions. While those parties have accused the KSDP of "selling out" the working class, there is no other party more closely associated with the employee's cause.
