Greschmeier Mountain Sports Club
Greschmeier Mountain Sports Club, generally known as either Greschmeier or GMSC depending on context, is the most prestigious sports club in Quintessence of Dust. Though historically associated with skiing and winter sports, in which it continues to excel, it also maintains teams in a variety of other sports, including rugby union, field hockey, football, ice hockey, bandy, and racket sports.

Football
The club's football team, known as Greschmeier MSC, has long been dominant in the Northern leagues, and with the founding of the QuinTel Not-Really-Very-Premier League entered as title contenders. In Season 1, Greschmeier swept to victory in both the League and the Crabby Yum Non-Intuitively Symbolic Metal Ornament. Captain Wilhelm Biber, defender Brikk Schitthausen, and striker Marina Sunqvist, were all selected for the national team based on their performances.
International
Ice hockey
The club has long fielded several ice hockey squads, including flagship team the Greschmeier Forks. The Forks have been very successful in domestic competition, winning 10 titles in the Bank of Highmark Hockey League, and are currently the defending national champions.
"I for one welcome our new Elven overlords"
In international club competition, however, the Forks have had an unlucky time of it. In CHL4, they were the only Quodite club to win a single match, advancing to the second qualifying run where they were knocked out by eventual finalists Therathor of Valanora. After winning the BoHHL they were guaranteed an automatic group place for CHL5, and managed a win and a draw to advance to the last 16 - where they again played Therathor, who brushed them aside 8-0 on aggregate, going on to win the overall title. Twice being eliminated by what is now ranked as the leading world club has caused some aggrevation at Greschmeier, and utter delight among rival fans.
