Fasta Benj was once a pristine jungle wilderness where the Giant Newts, worshiped by the Benjians, frolicked freely. All this was to change with the coming of the Dyelli Beybians, a notably belligerent and Catholic people. It was only a matter of time before the small Benjian democracy came under the scrutiny of it's neighbour.
An invasion was launched from Dyelli Beybi during a particularly quiet point in the Gonnad struggle. This invasion was to become known as the Racinia Crisis, due to the overbearing attempts to force peace by Racinia. During the peace talks that ended the Crisis, Fasta Benj was more or less assimilated into Dyelli Beybi, with Roman Catholicism becoming the official state religion. These peace talks were to have dramatic effects for the fate of the two countries in the decades to come.
After Tzar Richard IV ascended to the throne of Dyelli Beybi, his eldest son, Henry, was made Prince of Fasta Benj. Henry adopted a Benjian way of life, even going so far as to marry a local, making him somewhat unpopular in Dyelli Beybi where there was considerable mistrust for their Western neighbours.
After the Tzar launched missile strikes against the Drakonian Imperium, Henry assassinated his father and was crowned Tzar Henry IV. This led to the Dyelli Beybian Civil War, a War Mostly fought between forces from Fasta Benj and Socialist Rebel forces from Dyelli Beybi. Henry himself was killed in the Battle of Cyro, while his army was destroyed in Bath. The power vacuum this created in Fasta Benj led to the whole country collapsing into anarchy.
Some months after the end of the war, hostilities resumed in what became known as the East Benjian Adventure. Dyelli Beybian troops annexed the East and North sections of the country. The remained was later to become known as South-Western Benjia although this State was only a shadow of it's former self.
