Erigian Nelerusy
A Den Detyeĭ missionary, Erigian Nelerusy was a lobo from Laiatan who had traveled to Vulshain in order to spread the teachings of Odin to the lobos living in Vulshain during the early 800s AD.
Early Life
Erigian Nelerusy was born in the city of Iska. Erigian was the son of a simple cobbler. At the age of 14, Erigian claimed that he had a vision from Odin himself telling him to join the Den Materi church and become a minister.
While Erigian's parents were reluntact, they gave him their blessings.
Travel to Vulshain
When Erigian was only 18 years old, he is said to have received another vision from Odin, instructing him to go east to Vulshain and spread the teachings of the Den Mother to the people there. Erigian travelled to Vulshain to serve as a missionary.
He began to preach the ways of Den Materism to the Vulshainians. However, to his surprise, many vulpines listened to his prayers and sermons, and became Den Detyeĭ. He travelled to Velra City, the capital of the City-State Kingdom of Velra. There Prince Sigihard Knútr Karabe, heir to the throne, converted to Den Materism, although his bride, Lady Berendia Friederisca, a Vayan Catholic, was reluntact to allow Erigian to unite her and Prince Sigihard in marriage. She agreed, but only after first having a Vayan Catholic priest unite them at the same time.
Later Years
Erigian stayed in Vulshain, helping the Den Materi church to grow and prosper. He died in 830 AD. He was buried in the Church of the Forest where his remains still remain.
