The United Socialist Kingdom of Elipida is a Constitutional Monarchy with three levels of government; a federal, provincial, and municipal government. The Kingdom contains five provinces and 24 843 231 km2 of land. There are three major parties; the Conservative Party of Elipida, the Liberal Party of Elipida, and the Socialist Party of Elipida. The socialist party has dominated the elections since the introduction of democracy into the country in 1996.

History
The New Haven Revolution
Main Article: The New Haven Revolution
Elipida was not an independent nation for a long time. Prior to the revolution of 1960, Elipida, Northern Haven, and Dai Shihai where one nation; The Empire of New Haven. The century fell into chaos when Emperor John IX died in 1992. Afterwards, Revolutionary John McCray secretly signed a pack with the southern nobles and started a bloody revolution resulting in the death of at lease 20,000 loyalists, 19,000 separatists, and 10,000 non-combatants. The revolution lasted for two years and resulted in the separation of the two southern islands. It took ten years for a government to be formed on both islands, and it took until March 26 2011 for the World Assembly to recognize Elipida as an independent nation.
Independent Years
As the years go by, the tensions between Elipida and the Empire grew. Both nations spent billions on military and border patrols every year. Propaganda slandering the other nation and praising the military flooded the streets to quell the fear of an invasion and to prevent people from dropping their guard.
When Elipida was acknowledged as an independent nation, the government quickly turned to it’s neighbor, Dai Shihai, for support. The two countries signed a pack and became allies sworn to protect each other from the Empire.
Government
The Elipian Government is Constitutional Monarchy. Queen Cordillera De Ragnaz sits at the top with the Governor General Eric Boldren by her side. However, since Elipida is a constitutional monarchy, they have no real power. The current President is John Eden. While there are nine registered political parties, there are three major parties that dominate the polls: The Socialists, The Liberals, and the Conservatives. Currently Elipian parliament has a minority government.
The Socialist Party of Elipida
Currently the leading party in parliament, they've dominated the votes since the founding of Elipida. Their current leader is John Eden. They have a center-left stance on economic issues and a far left stance on social issues.
They currently hold 196 out of 400 seats in the House of Commons.
The Liberal Party of Elipida
Currently the official opposition in parliament, They've always came in second place when it comes to votes. Their current leader is Charlotte Petite. They have a center stance on social issues, however they have a far left stance on economy, believing that profit-hungry corporations are the leading cause of harm to the environment and thus to protect the many lush forests of Elipida, all companies must be placed under strict government control.
They currently hold 147 out of 400 seats in the House of Commons.
The Conservative Party of Elipida
Currently the second opposition in parliament, they tend to get the lease amount of votes. Their current leader is Yamura Kenji. They have a center-right stance on economic issues and a centrist stance on social issues.
They currently hold 87 out of 400 seats in the House of Commons.
Enviroment
Elipda has many lush national parks where many animals prosper.
The Phoenix Bird
Main Article: Phoenix Bird
The Phoenix bird is Elipida's national animal that is protected due to it's declining population. They are a member of the Bird-of-paradise family. They feed on small fruits, mammals, and lizards. They are only found in the southern part of Elipida.
The Lion's Paw
Main Article: The Lion's Paw
The Lion's paw is a rare breed of flower only found growing in the Diabal Mountains in the winter and only bloom at night. They are white and yellow and when crushed makes a metallic yellow fluid that can be used as medicine for treating most incurable diseases. they are only found in the cold Diabal Mountains near the Empire borders.
There have been many attempts to introduce them elsewhere that have all failed. they require something that is only found in the Diabal Mountains.

The Capital

Tranquility is the Capital of Elipda. roughly a third of the country's total population resides in the capital alone. Most of the events that happen here affect the entire country.
Largest City
Main Article: Freedom's Progress
Containing more than half of the total population, Freedom's progress is the largest city in Elipida and generates more money than any other city in the region.
The Freedom Monument
Main Article: Freedom's Progress
After the Revolution a monument was errected on the Freedom Island as a reminder of the cost of Elipida's freedom. The entire island was renamed and became the bae of the monument.
Every September 10, people amass at the base of the monument to honor those who have died in war.
Ichyros Military Academy
The biggest, most renown military academy in the region, Ichyros became the birth place of many elite soldiers serving in many different militaries around the world, strengthening ties with other countries in the process. The campus was built into an old castle owned by Count Ichyros.
Pandora Isles
The Pandora Isles is a cluster of small islands of the eastern coast of Elipida. They’re name the “Pandora Isles” because of all the many undiscovered animals and plants found on the island when explorers first arrived.
There have been many stories about the islands in regards of monsters that roam the streets at night and evil black magic performed by the nobles who lived here in secret many years ago.
Diabal Mountains
Main Article: The Diabal Mountains
The Diabal Mountains is a vast cold mountain range located near the Empire's border. Mount Serenity is the range's highest mountain and the worlds second largest mountain in recorded history at 8 623m. What is so notable about these mountains is the fact that it is the only place in the world where the Lion Paw grows. The reason these flowers only grow here stumbles even the most renown scientists.
Angel's Catalyst Falls
Main Article: The Angel's Catalyst Plateau
Angel's catalyst Falls is the highest natural waterfall in recorded human history. Emerging when a sudden earthquake in the Diabal mountain region causing the forward plateau to fall two kilometers down, this waterfall was formed from a running river. The unnamed plateau was named the Catalyst Plateau
Interment Camps
Main Article: The Pony Crisis
During the terrorist attacks on government buildings known as the Pony Crisis, The President made a rash decision to intern all non-humans in small camps located near the Diabal Mountains. Living conditions were horrible and occupants were often mistreated by the Sentries and Guards.

The Ichyros Academy Incident
Ichyros Military Academy cadets were patroling The Freedom Monument on September 10 2012 when the Empire invaded. The Empire fired a balistic missile over the monument killing hundreds and left thousands missing.
The cadets were then conscripted under the War Measures Act into the military. Under the supervision of General George Williams, the cadets received extensive training for a counter attack into the Empire's homeland.

The Pony Crisis
After a bill to give other sentient lifeforms rights inside of Elipida was thrown out of the senate, a Terrorist organization took matter into their own hands, bombing a Boeing 747 carrying two senators and a hundred civilians.
afterwards they captured a military carrier of a nearby country and, using the nuclear warheads inside and an abandoned launchpad, destroyed the city of St. Maria, killing thousands.
Foreign aid arrived and helped the survivors and helped the scrambled Peace Keepers.
President John H. Eden made a rash decision to place all non-humans into internment camps to keep an eye on them while they dealt with the insurgents.
Eventually with the aid or both the AAPS and the CoPS, the terrorist organization's leaders were captured, all members of the organization surrendered and all non-humans freed from the camps.
At the moment the Bill to give non-humans rights is being reviewed by the Senate
The Red Roses Crisis
Under the command of Ex-Empire scientist, Dr. William Whitman, Empire Remnants released a highly toxic genetically modified neuro-toxins in the middle of the largest tourist attraction in the country, killing hundreds of tourists instantly, and leaving hundreds more dying.
With the efforts of many other countries, A quarantine was in placed and William was hunted down to his temporary headquarters in the national news building. There his men ambushed the multi-nation spec-ops troopers as they stormed his base, only to find instead the first clue to his sick game.
His first clue is a broken blue plastic souvenir obelisk. This is one of the souvenir toys sold at the Freedom's Monument before the first attack by the Empire.
