Earth II - Revitalization

Earth II is an alternate dimension of Earth. Originally created because of the vast amount of land taken in the original Earth thread, Earth II was once thought dead. However, upon the request of Colodia and the time input of Layarteb, hope sprung eternal and Earth II - Revitalization was formed. Basically this is how it works.

First off, you have the planet Earth. It has all the standard land masses, bodies of water, and this and that of the real planet Earth except for one thing, the nations that exist in real life don't. The history of real-life doesn't exist. To make claiming easy, we kept national boundaries but as you can see in the maps, claims extend to multiple nations or in some cases (USA, Mexico, Russia) only parts of the nations. Every nation that makes a claim is a nation in Earth II. That means there is no United States or China. There is the Empire of xxx or the Empire of xxx or the Free Land of xxx. We're in the process of developing a United Nations type body for Earth II but it is still in the works.

As you can see below, we have a large number of RPs that are active and many that have been completed. Earth II is a great bunch of men & women and I have to say that I personally enjoy having them in Earth II Revitalization. So I hope that you enjoy the principle and join up, there is still plenty of land out there.

Rules & Regulations

• You can't have anything in 'Earth II' if you own anything in any other Earth thread. The only exception are those nations already inside Earth II and another Earth. The boundary is post #139. After that post no nations are allowed in Earth II if they are in another Earth regardless of the puppet rule.
• Check the list before you post or else you're going to get yelled at and beaten with a stick.
• You DO NOT necessarily need verification unless your claim is unnaturally large or unbelievable. At that point, there is no guarantee that you will get what you claim.
• If I see "I claim Europe and Russia" and there is no link, I will NOT place your claim on the list, and I will say nothing about it. Don't come back whining to me that you didn't get your territory. It's your responsibility to back up your claims.
• It's your responsibility to come here and check that you claims have been accepted and verified.
• KEEP THE CLAIMS SMALL PEOPLE. This list will probably grow quite large, so its a good idea to use the 'Ctrl+F' command to search the page. This will be alphabetical listed by the NS Nation's name. See the population matrix in this post.
• All Earth II RPs MUST HAVE in their topic (before the title) the following [Earth II] or else it will be ignored. This is to keep uniformity and make it easier to understand. 'Additionally, all threads via Earth II now must be reported here so that I may update the news and lists and so on and so fourth.[/color]
• Check the RPs post (the fourth post) and it is your responsibility to keep current with what is going on. As a measure of gesture, if you RP with another nation you must inform them of it so that they can respond. If you fail to notify them then guess what, it doesn't count.
• Additionally, no nation may have more than one nation inside Earth II, this means no two or three puppets. Violation of said rule will result in instant expulsion as that is blatantly unfair.

Now I would like to make a note that Colodia is the second in command of this thread, the sort of XO of the Earth II - Revitalization, it being his idea of course. With that said, I take his opinion highly in these matters and I would like to point out that his word is as good as mine is in this thread so if he speaks, obey. And now a word from him.

A Word From Colodia

And guys, Layarteb is as human as all of us. I didn't want to make the Earth II topic myself because of the huge responsibility and the massive amount of people and disputes you must solve as the guy to heads all this.

But please, make it easier on Layarteb and everyone else...simple things that will cut down confusion and headaches.

1. Don't claim lands that have already been claimed. This is a huge problem. There is a GIANT list back there and it's sitting there collecting dust while people on page 23987239 want to claim Isreal. Seriously, before you claim ANYTHING, press Ctrl+F on the first page and type in the land you wish to claim. If a nation has not claimed it yet, then you may claim it.

2. Don't be babies I'm not sure if it's been done yet, but c'mon...we're all mature people here on NS. If you and another have a dispute over who gets to claim a particular piece of land, RP for it. And I mean RP it over in another thread, NOT HERE!

3. Colodia gets TG's as well Surprise, surprise! Colodia can ALSO answer questions or comments that you otherwise would've TG'd Layarteb. I'm not sure how many TG's he/she gets, but I can assume that they add up to the amount of trouble.

4. Make reasonable claims No, seriously. No names, but a claim of Germany, France, and Denmark at once....WITHOUT an RP link is a big no. I'm not saying we'll reject you if you do not provide an RP. I'm just saying that if your claim meets this criteria: - Will add to a huge list of claims you've made - Is a popular nation (Germany, France, Isreal, Iraq) - Is a large nation (Russia, China, Brazil)

then you MUST provide an RP link proving that you have the ability to hold said nation. Now, if the claim is small and reasonable, then by all means...claim it.

And that's all I can think of right now. I'm a busy guy too, so make it easier for everyone. It's not like you, me, and Layarteb can sit down for 20 minutes and discuss your problem.

Concerning Puppets for Multiple Earth Nations

Yes me and Colodia have come to agreement. We will allow nations of other Earth's to have puppets in Earth II but we have some strict conditions for this. Please note that this only applies to nations previously established in Earth II prior to post #139.

• First and foremost, the puppet will be limited to a claim not exceeding 150,000 sq. mi. and yes we (Me and Colodia) will both be checking up on this. So choose wisely because I'm not going to be happy if I have to change your claim 200 times. A 7,500 sq. mi. buffer exists but only if the territory is already part of your current claim.
• Second, the main nation MUST inform me and Colodia that the puppet is theirs.
• Third, the puppet MUST NOT BE interlaced with the main nation and thus independent.
• Fourth, their claim is static and cannot increase however, they can be invaded but I strongly ask that anyone out there please be nice. However, if you wish to bow out of Earth II and to bow out with a bang we're not going to stop you at all from having another Earth II nation invade you and this and that.
• Fifth, if you renounce your claims on anothe Earth you will NOT be limited at Earth II as such but rather only limited in the sense of greed. If you get too greedy we're going to stop you.
• Sixth, to be fair, those claims that will now be available from some of these nations will be placed back in the bin for those to claim. However, nations already here should not be greedy and if you already exceed a lot of land we're going to say no to these claims.
• Seventh, from this moment on, all nations that are not in Earth II and come into Earth II cannot be part of another Earth. Those nations already in Earth II and have a claim elsewhere in another Earth will be the only ones who can take part in this. I will not penalize them but new members from this post (#181) onward WILL NOT BE allowed to have multiple Earth claims regardless of puppet.

Population - Land Distribution Matrix

• under 500k sq. mi. = population non-important
• 500k to 1.0m = population of minimally 500m
• 1.0m to 2.0m = population of minimally 1.0b
• 2.0m to 3.0m = population of minimally 2.0b
• 3.0m to 4.0m = population of minimally 3.0b

The limit is 4.0m sq. mi. regardless of your population size and all nations that currently do not meet the criteria have been notified and will not lose any claims that they have. However, they will be frozen from making any additional claims until they can meet the population requirements. For nations entering after post #199, the population matrix will fully apply and no exceptions shall be made. We will allow a margin of error of 100 million so if you are at 940m people and you have a land claim requiring 1.0b then you will be okay and not frozen.

Concerning Ignoring

In light of recent actions and the liberal use of the ignore cannon, there comes the necessity for the following. Ignoring attacks, events, and so on and so fourth because they do not coincide with your personal storyline, because you do not want to take losses, or because you don't feel like it just doesn't cut it. Godmodding is an acceptable use of the ignore cannon as are time commitments elsewhere (school, work, wife, boyfriend, husband, girlfriend, etc.). Additionally, if the time commitment excuse is used, we'd better not see you posting RPs at a rate of 5 posts per hour.

If you are country A and someone else is country B. If country B moves against country A for any reason whatsoever or no apparent reason because remember ladies and gentlemen, you don't really need a reason to go to war. And you choose to ignore country B because it doesn't matter what they do or think guess what, you're in the wrong. NS and RL are not independent. So when things happen in Germany in real life just because France doesn't want that to happen doesn't mean they can completely ignore the situation.

When you have an invading army on your border you cannot just throw out an ignore. Sorry but that is the way it goes. No ifs, ands, buts or arguments. Enacted on post #1245.
