Dwarves

Dwarves are a squat race of humanoid creatures famed for skill with forging, long beards, and well known for large subterranean civilizations. They are often long lived race of the Dwarves who have their own sense of ethnic diversity. Dwarves in general have Their life expectancy is about 270 years old for men and 300 for women. There are different kinds of Dwarves. There are the Subterranean Dwarves which are known to be from where the dwarven people are said to have been awakened in may places at once, but in different locales. Because many live beneath the lands their actual population is unknown, but they have many well known subterranean cities in many existing homeworlds. The Subterranean Dwarves have men and who women are often noticeably distinguishable.Their women are considerably beautiful compared to other Dwarf ethnic groups. Another Ethnicities are the Mountain Hall Dwarves, who live primarily in the mountains. They are typically indistinguishable genderwise and are covered in a full body of hair as compared to the Subterranean Dwarves who may or may not have full beards, but not be completely covered in hair. There are the Grassland Dwarves who are often also known as Gnomes. There are also the Forest Dwarves who are also known and mistaken as goblins.

The Stereotypes about dwarves exist and they are considered to be gruff and usually associated with hard physical work and masculinity. There is therefore dwarven discrimination of dwarven women who do not fit the standard. Often dwarves are seen as performers of heavy labour, and are considered suited for life on high-gravity planets, and have been susceptible to respiratory conditions, alcoholism, and certain types of cancers. The leading causes of death for dwarves is work related injuries, cirrhosis, and liver conditions. They usually range from 3-5 feet in height, with some notable exceptions among the Nardukher ruling family of the dwarves in Northwestern Liang. Most of them like a good axe as a hand-to-hand combat weapon, and have served on a wide variety of battlefields on the side of good and noble empires.

Demphorian Dwarves make up 25% of the Demphorian population. Dwarves of Starblaydia and Cockbill Street are also known for their sporting achievements in games such as Football (Soccer), Ice Hockey and Rugby Union. Ausserlander dwarves are noted for their diplomatic skill, as seen in the Ausserlander delegation to the United Nations. Many Dwarves also make up ministers and representatives in Crystal Spires's High Council.
