The Dragon Tank, Light (Russian: Змей танк, Zmey Tank), albeit called "light", is not quite as light as one would expect. Based on the Command & Conquer Mammoth Tank, with a slight up-gunning touch given to it, no one can quite remember why it was named a "light" tank. The name was given by Sir McBJ and it could either be meant in an ironic way or maybe the "light" is part of the word "Dragon", not tank. Thus, it would mean "Tank of Dragon Light", not "Light Tank of Dragon". It is beyond doubt that the tank does indeed use a form of "light" to battle its opponents - apart from its dual 200mm guns that can knock just about any armored vehicle of equal size and Tech level out with just one hit, the Dragon Light Tank has a small laser cannon mounted atop its turret, to deal with aircraft and infantry, a purpose for which its main turret would be too slow and bulky.
Dragon Light Tanks were among the first vehicles designed for Leninist Dynasty, dating back to the very first alternate version. They were abandoned in later versions though, in favour of the Newtype concept. Later, an attempt was made to reconcile the two types, and when a source document revealed that there were at least two types of Neo-T (119 and 884), the Dragon Light Tank was retconned to be a certain type of Neo-T, namely the 884. However, OOC-historically, they are completely seperate developments.
