The Di Bradini Cup is an Under-21 football tournament for any nation that wishes to send its younger players (those under the age of twenty-one at the time of the competition) for a competitive tournament.
Though not originally intended to replace the dormant Under-21 World Cup; the DBC has come to be regarded as its direct successor tournament, with DBC8 also formally referred to as the 29th Under-21 World Cup.
The tournament was named after Simeone Di Bradini, Starblaydia’s most-famous player, who scored Starblaydia's first Under-21 goal in U21WC3 and coached the Starblaydia Under-21s to glory in U21WC14. The DBC was established by the SFA in part to help re-establish Starblaydia back in the international arena following regional conflict, and 14 of the 23 editions of the tournament has been hosted in Di Bradini’s home nation.
The most successful nations in the cup have been Candelaria And Marquez and Cafundeu, both with three titles. The tournament has also been kind to newcomers to international sport, with Newmanistan notably taking the DBC4 title on their first international outing, and not losing a group stage match until DBC8. Starblaydia themselves, however, took 14 editions to win their own tournament, with that victory coming in Krytenia.
