Daví Miguel Santos Carvalho (born 5th July 1990 in Pegrano degli Amarchi, Capitale), known more commonly by his nickname Demi Santos, or simply Demi, is a Pacitalian professional footballer currently playing midfield on loan to Cotdelapomais club Étoile Rouge from Thundercougarfalconbirds of the Virabi v.league.
Demi is the third player of Portuguese descent to be named to the starting eleven for Pacitalia, following in the footsteps of fullback Nuno Cabana and goalkeeper Teodor Mando. He has been credited for a recent spike in the number of aspiring Portuguese-Pacitalian football players due to his ascent while a member of the national team and, more recently, as a star footballer in the Seria-A.

University athletics
During his university career, Demi appeared in 72 matches for St. Mark's University during Pacitalian Athletics Conference men's football league play. He scored 40 goals, making him one of the highest scoring players ever to play for St. Mark's.
Professional career
Club play
His professional rights were originally owned by the Woodstock Wild of the Sarzonian Football Confederation. The Wild, by virtue of ownership of Demi's rights, had a 75-day window in which to sign him to a contract, but failed to negotiate a deal. The team had until 1st May 2012, a further 45-day window, to either match an offer from another club, or sell the rights without incurring a penalty (as per the terms of all agreements involving FFP players).
However, on 24th March 2012, Erathi Seria-A club Juvillian Martinax tendered an offer for Demi that was not matched by any other club during the required 72-hour window, and were legally transferred his exclusive rights. They finalised their contract with him just days later, making him eligible to play for the club in the 12th season of the Seria-A. The signing was considered a huge coup for the club, and for the Seria-A, which has become an attractive destination for several foreign players.
Demi made an immediate impact with Juvillian, became a fan favourite, and was instrumental in the club's capture of the league title along with berths in the TakilQuip Champions' Cup and the Copa de Campeones. He was named Seria-A Player of the Year, Foreign Player of the Year and Midfielder of the Year at season's end. He appeared in all 38 matches in his first season with Juvillian, scoring 11 goals for the club.
A scandal in the Seria A led to an imposed administration of Juvillian Martinax and several other clubs, and after playing just a single season for the Erathi club, Demi's rights were transferred to Virabi top-flight club Thundercougarfalconbirds for a transfer fee of £67.5 million (Đ 30 million).
Demi's initial stint at TCFB was short-lived, however, as an unhappy Demi publicly expressed his frustration with the "amateurish" nature of the club's stadium. He remarked that a club able to afford a transfer fee like the one paid to acquire him should have had the funds to build a facility to match the talent on the pitch. Despite netting 13 goals in his 12 caps for TCFB, and helping them overcome a slow start to an initially promising v.league campaign, he was shortly thereafter loaned to Cotdelapomais club Étoile Rouge ahead of the forthcoming UICA cycle.
National team
Demi first made an international appearance at AOCAF Cup 30 as a contingency midfielder while continuing to impress at the university level. This consistency, combined with strong showings in friendly matches and a remarkable effort at training and development camp, landed him in the starting XI for AOCAF Cup 31, ahead of the incumbent right midfielder Massimo da Scupeta, who had faced questions over his match fitness.
In the tournament, Demi was Pacitalia's second-highest scoring player, behind only Ambrosino Giurimano, scoring ten goals in nine appearances for the Blue Foxes en route to the country's fifth regional championship title.
During Pacitalia's preliminary stage match against Nellietopia at AOCAF Cup 34, Demi suffered a severe spider bite from Nellietopian back Є601 in an incident that earned the latter player a red card and a suspension from tournament officials. Despite the potentially life-threatening bite, quick treatment and medical attention, and a dedicated recovery, resulted in his return to active play after sitting for one match. In the teams' eventual re-match during the quarterfinals, Demi assisted on the match-winning goal by Ambrosino Giurimano.
Demi is second overall for goals scored among active players with a total of 40 in his 56 appearances. At AOCAF Cup 36, Demi won the Golden Boot, scoring a tournament-best 12 goals in seven matches.
