Babbage Academy of Engineering, often abbreviated BAE, is an academic institution in Kopavogur, Gibson, The Babbage Islands. World-renowned for its mechanical engineering programme, BAE is focused on education in science, technology, and many disciplines of engineering. This sometimes makes the Academy stand out from its IAAAA counterparts that tend to exalt the liberal arts. Nevertheless, the consistent high regard for BAE in the world at large--they are ranked third overall in Kauffman's Guide--quiets most discontent.
