History
Early Life
Born Anatansya Inarikaiya to the House of Inarikaiya, Anatansya's lineage could be traced all the way back to the Line of Saint Jorkett Karabe VI, the Vulshainian king who united all of Vulshain in the 14th century. Anatansya was tutored by a private tutor during her early years before she went on to attend the University of St. George. It was here she met her future husband, Prince Vasyl Olekalexein. The two began dating. Many of their friends have described it as love at first sight.
Queen Consort
Anatansya Inarikaiya later married at a young age of seventeen, becoming the Queen Consort to the newly elected and crowned King Vasyl Olekalexein. Anatansya would later say, "It was the happiest moment of my life."
Sadly, the happiness didn't last.
Rebellion and Rise of the Republican Regime
Because of Vasyl Olekalexein's predecessor's foolishness in handling the economy and government, his attempts to set things right seem to make matters worse. Anatansya was his pillar of support through many stressful months. Then, the unthinkable happened: on March 1, 1958, a coup was led by Merrill Rivers and his growing army of followers. When Rivers and his Republican Fists stormed the Confederate Royal Palace, Anatansya was pregnant. Worried about both hers and their unborn child's safety, Vasyl ordered the Vulshainian Kuverinsent Regiment and the Anireptian Guards to protect Anatansya and get her to safety. The Kuverinsent Regiment and Anireptian Guards held off the Republican Fists and Republican traitors while getting the Queen out of the palace safely. Vasyl stayed behind, refusing to leave. He kissed his Queen goodbye and told her that he loved her and their unborn child. Vasyl fought back, bolstering the Royalists. It was the last time Anatansya would see her King alive.
Flight to Laiatan
Anatansya's escape from Vulshain's capital of Kitsuniva was the first part of her flight out of a growing Democratic Republic of Vulshain. Rivers' influence was quickly spreading. However, there were those who continued to be diehard loyalists to the Crown. These Royalists aided in the Queen's protection. Many died holding back her pursuers. Rivers issued an order to all those loyal to him to capture her: dead or alive.
Time was running out for Anatansya. The Royalists were starting to be unable to hold off the Republican soldiers as the Republicans began to tighten their net. There was only one solution: to flee into exile. There was only one place she could escape to: Laiatan.
Escorted by a few Royalists, the Queen began the long flight to Vulshain's western neighbor.
On March 20, 1958, near the Laiatanese-Vulshainian border, the Republicans finally caught up to the Queen. Her car crashed into a tree, but she and her unborn child survived. The remaining Royalists made a final stand to ensure their Queen could escape to safety.

However, the Laiatanese rushed to her aid and helped her to get inside their borders. Anatansya made it into Laiatan with the Republican Death Squads literally within reach. The Laiatanese refused to hand over the now exiled Queen of Vulshain.
Later that day, Anatansya went into labor, giving birth to a beautiful vixen kit. Anatansya gave her newborn kit the name she and Vasyl had agreed on: Vikki.
Physical Appearance
The Queen Dowager has a unique trait shared by many of the House of Inarikaiya, including some of her grandchildren: heterochromia. This trait has been passed down through many generations, although it tends to skip some descendents, even within the same family. Anatansya is unique in that she is partial heterochromia, or parti-colored: her left eye is half-brown and half-green, while her right eye is an ice-blue color.
Despite her old age, she continues to keep herself in shape, which has resulted in her having a young-looking curvy body. She suffers from a slight case of arthritis, but she is very good at taking her medications for this. What most people don't realize is that her left arm is cybernetic, as she was badly injuried in an assassination attempt a few months after being restored to the throne of Vulshain. Doctors were able to attach a robotic arm and used synthetic fur and hair to make it look like she was unharmed. In later years, she has had her cybernetic arm upgraded with the latest technology.
Her fur is a mixture of whites, cinnamon reddish-browns, grays, and jet blacks, giving her the appearance of a red wolf. This is another inherited trait of the House of Inarikaiya: unique and colorful coats and markings. Many believe that the reason for this is due to the fact that unlike many other noble houses, the House of Inarikaiya has always has always had an equal mixture of vulpines and lobos in its bloodline, with fur patterns being mixed and fused with each new generation regardless of race.
Her hair, while still retaining some of its dark copper-red color, has grayed over the years.
Skills and Talents
Anatansya is a very skilled musician and artist. Despite growing up in a privileged and wealthy family, she refused to depend on servants, preferring to take care of herself, a preference strongly approved and encouraged by her parents. While 68 years old, she still retains her mastery of martial arts, having been captain of her wrestling and martial arts teams. She is master Wenggi fighter, and has appeared as a special guest at several fighting schools and training centers over the years. She is a talented swimmer, acrobat, and sprinter, and still execrises even for someone her age. She is also a skilled archer.
She is considered a master of the Vulshainian War Fan. She exhibited such skill when she easily deflected bullets with her fan when she was attacked by a lone assassin. She also easily killed him with her fan by slicing off his head with a single attack. This should be no surprised as members of the House of Inarikaiya are renowned for their mastery of the war fan. She is also a master of Vulshainian Rinjutsu, or the Way of the Staff, an ancient Vulshainian fighting style that involves the use of a long staff. Another talent is her skill in using a parasol in combat, especially since her umbrella has a hidden sword inside of the handle, as well as retractable blades on the umbrella's tips. The umbrella is even designed to spin like a saw. One of her many talents is her vast knowledge of Vulshainian cultural traditions and customs.
Personality
Anatansya is a kind-hearted and caring lobo woman. Despite the deaths of her parents, husband, and daughter, the Queen Dowager acts a strong emotional support for the surviving members of her family, as well as to others. However, she is no pushover, and knows how to defend yourself and her loved ones from harm.
