The Achtervolganian National Football Team represents the nation of Achtervolging and was initially formed to compete in the 32nd Baptism of Fire and in World Cup 45. It is controlled by the Football Authority of Achtervolging (FAA).
The team is comprised of entirely domestically grown talent, coming from teams in the Elite and Second Leagues.

The national team uses several top-league stadia on a seemingly random basis.
Royal Stadium
Royal Stadium in Kari is the largest stadium in Achtervolging and seats 91,000.
Station Park
Located in football-mad Southbrae Station Park is a classic stadium that provides an intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams. Station Park holds 47,000 spectators.
Gordon Road
Southbrae's neighbours to the north, Northbrae would be incensed if they did not get to host national team matches as well, and as such Gordon Road (cap. 42 237) is also used on a regular basis.
ZuidStadion
The southern portion of the country also plays host to the national team in the city of Twenteraan. ZuidStadion holds 44 974 fans.
